The Middle Tree ACT/SAT program takes a comparative approach to preparing for the ACT and SAT exam.

  • Students take 5 practice exams including the optional writing portion throughout the session.
  • Officially released tests will be given under the same procedures and restraints an official ACT or SAT exam would be given in order to prepare students for the real thing.
  • Students will also be individually monitored on their progress and education, and refined accordingly. Any specific needs will be identified and addressed for each student.
  • Targeted learning with progress monitoring on practice exams will insure students are receiving individualized instruction.

8-12 After School Program (All Subjects)

Monday - Friday 2-7 pm & Saturday 9 am - 2 pm

For our base program, students may sign up for any subject. Each subject is for two hours a week. Instead of just being a homework help center, Middle Tree will provide relevant supplemental material in order to not only get your student caught up and on top of their work, but also ahead of the class. The student to tutor ratio will never be more than 8:1. All material adheres to the California State Standards and pertains to each grade level. In addition, students will be assessed in order to identify any need.

K-7 After School Program, Math and English

Monday - Friday 2-7 pm & Saturday 9 am - 2 pm

For the younger grades, students may sign up for either English or Math. Whether it’s English development or advanced math, we are able to provide you with the tools to succeed. Students will be assessed at their grade level in order to identify any needs. Tutors will provide extra material and resources tailored to the student’s individual need to supplement learning. Unlike other after school centers, Middle Tree does not utilize a workbook, which allows us to focus on a student’s individual need rather than force them on a rigid learning track. Instead, we provide specific material for a specific need. The student to tutor ratio will never be more than 8:1. Instead of just catching the student up, we aim to get them ahead.

Career and College Prep
